It finds application in the aviation and marine sectors, where it has been in use for several years as a coating for frames and structures.

In the rail industry, for coating various components; and in the world of car and motorcycle restoration.

Particularly suitable for anticorrosive coating systems that prescribe the use of non-toxic, non-flammable products.

Treatment of surfaces to be coated

Surfaces to be coated must be thoroughly clean, making sure there are no traces of dirt, grease, moisture and, where possible, the onset of corrosion.

Thorough abrasive blasting treatment or sanding is required when coating particularly smooth and shiny metal, and wherever there is a need to promote better adhesion.

Application

Apply by spraying only, using normal airmix or airless equipment at low pressure, with nozzles measuring between 1.2 and 2.0 mm.

The thickness of the coating to be applied varies depending on the required performance, ranging from 30 microns to 80 microns or more.

Bear in mind that, for this product, drying times depend on the thickness applied: a film 30-40 microns thick will take approx. 60 minutes; thicker films can take anything up to a few hours to dry.

Once the coating is surface dry, wait at least 6 hours before overcoating.
