Treatment of surfaces to be coated
Surfaces to be coated must be thoroughly clean, making sure there is absolutely no trace of dirt, grease or dust.
A good degreasing is usually enough to ensure maximum adhesion.
Nonetheless, it’s always best to prepare the surface by abrasive blasting, sanding or brushing to promote better adhesion, especially when dealing with smooth and reflective metals.
Application
This product can be applied by spraying, roller or brush.
When spraying, use normal airmix or airless systems, with spray nozzles measuring between 1.2 and 1.7 mm and air pressure set to 3-4 bar.
When applying by roller or brush, make sure you spread the film evenly, aiming to produce an attractive finish and being careful to avoid the product building up in some areas or leaving any areas uncoated.
Generally speaking, thickness can range from a minimum of 30 microns to over 100 microns.
The product air-dries at ambient temperature in approx. 30-40 minutes.
